It is really easy to take a verse out of context and use it as a standalone proof text. Many of those who do this only know a few verses that they use to backup what they believe. When confronted with the surrounding context and other passages that clearly refute their belief system, most of these people will ignore what the rest of Scripture teaches because they were raised in this system and they have no desire to learn anything beyond what their church teaches.

It is hard to be a Christian in this world. Jesus said, “If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you” (John 15:18). Our adversary, Satan, “prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (1 Pet. 5:8).

The assassination of Charlie Kirk on September 10th was absolutely horrible! But it did not surprise me. Those who hate God will perform acts of evil because they "are full of evil and insanity in their hearts."

During an episode of Fox & Friends (August 19, 2025), President Trump called into the show and said, “I want to try and get to heaven, if possible.” He is worried that he will not go to heaven when he dies if he is unable to broker an end to the war in Ukraine. Trump acknowledged that he is no saint.

Death is inevitable. It will happen whether or not you are ready for it. The most important question of your life is this: where will you spend eternity when you die?

Will everyone be saved from the wrath of God and be restored to a right relationship with Him even if they never repent of their sins?

Now is the time for salvation. The Lord can come to take His believers home in the rapture at any moment?

Is baptism by immersion in water required to be saved? What does Acts 2:38 actually teach?

What does it mean to be Born Again? Will you see the kingdom of God without being Born Again?

What does the Bible teach about transgenderism? Does God condone this?

What is meant by Perseverance of the Saints? Is God able to keep forever those He called to salvation?

What is Irresistible Grace? Does this doctrine teach that we cannot resist the Holy Spirit? Can we come to faith in Christ without it?

Did Christ die for the sins of everyone who ever lived? Of was His atonement limited to His elect?
