Here is a little bit about my background.

Born in New York City, October 1952, and raised on Long Island, NY with one brother and four sisters.

Graduated from Sachem High School, Ronkonkoma NY in June 1970.

Enlisted in the United States Navy in July 1970 and honorably served on active duty for twelve years and in the reserves for about six months. I served on three submarines (USS Albacore [AGSS 569], USS Dace [SSN 607], and USS Sunfish [SSN 649]) and two surface ships (USS Guam [LPH 9], USS Sierra [AD 18]) as an Interior Communications Electrician.

I came to faith in Christ sometime in late 1972 or early 1973. See my post titled "How I Came to Saving Faith in Christ".

I left the United States Navy at the end of my second six-year enlistment in July 1983.

Attended Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo MI, January 1984 to April 1988, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a Minor in Applied Mathematics.

Employed as an engineer at the Naval Avionics Center, Naval Air Warfare Center, Hughes, and Raytheon (all at the same site) from July 1988 to December 2014, retiring as a Senior Software Engineer II with Technical Honors.

I am happily married. We attend a doctrinally sound and Spirit-filled church with expository teaching.
